Tucked into a quiet street in San Francisco's Russian Hill,
Ristorante Milano opens nightly to serve housemade pastas,
fresh market fish and favorite northern Italian dishes
in warm and familiar surroundings.

Owner and executive chef Aldo Blasi was born and raised
in Rome, where his grandfather owned a restaurant on the
Roman Forum. Like his grandfather, Aldo shows his dedication
to quality ingredients in the core menu and the daily specials
that take advantage of what is fresh in the market.

"Twice weekly I make trips to the local Farmer's Market,
and buy organic as much as possible. Our pasta is made right here with fresh eggs. Our gnocchi is hand rolled. The pleasure of good food and good company was of ultimate importance for me growing up in Rome. I have continued this tradition here at Ristorante Milano for more than 25 years."
